We are delighted to invite researchers, educators and practitioners to participate at the 22nd International Scientific Conference of the University of Belgrade – Faculty of Sport and Physical Education entitled Physical Activity and Health – Pledge for Life. The Conference will be held from December 06-07, 2024 in Belgrade.
We would also like to inform you that the invited lecturers will be:
- Dr med. sci. Žarko Vučković, general surgeon (VS Clinic – Belgrade, ASPETAR hospital Doha, Qatar)
Topic: Painful groin syndrome in athletes - Andreja Milutinović, PhD, Head of science, (Department of Sport Science AC Milan – Milan, Italy)
Topic: Conditioning, recovery and health care of athletes - imperatives of unified action - Prof. dr med. Sci. Zoran Vesić, associate professor University of Belgrade, Faculty of Political Sciences
Topic: Physical activity as a factor of successful ageing
The Conference Program committee welcomes papers from a wide variety of interdisciplinary and theoretical perspectives, scientific researches and practical experiences from the field of physical education, sport and recreation. The Conference is organized around the following topic areas:
- Physical activity in Childhood and Adolescence as a Foundation of a Healthy Life;
- Exercise as Therapeutic Activity;
- Recreation and Exercising in Mature Age;
- Exercising and Healthy Aging (Exercising for Seniors);
- Exercising and Healthy Society;
- Contemporary Challenges in Athlete Healthcare;
- Physiology of Sport and Exercising;
- Biomechanics and Motor Control;
- Socio-humanistic and Cultural Aspects of Physical Activity;
- Methodological Aspects of Physical Activity.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: In order to encourage all interested researchers to publish their results at our conference, the deadline for submitting abstracts has been extended to November 15, 2024.
The Conference venue is the Faculty of Sport of the University of Belgrade. The presentation and delivery formats for your contributions will be timely announced.
